Hi OP - I am looking at doing the same as our house is about to be rewired .... do you mind explaining how you resolved this issue in the end? I was looking at buying exactly the same switch so I'm interested to learn.

@Nick1987 observed fact is managed Ethernet switches can cause issues while the cheaper unmanaged variety seem fine.
