Im looking to upgrade from ultra fast to giga fast broadband and was woundering what WIFI speeds are possible with the new router they supply? I am getting about 440 down on my current setup

They say that they are going to supply a different router when i upgrade... Version 4 i think

Thats the latest version of the same sr203.  Unless they've made changes to the wifi.

What hub do you have at the minute?

I have the SR203 but i have had it for a few years. The reason i wanted to know is, if i dont get any faster wifi then i will stay on the same service.

The speed to the ont will increase and so will the wifi and ethernet speed to your devices

The SR203 is a WiFi 5 device and can only hit around 450 Mbps at best so Gigafast is really only of any use for wired devices. If you have WiFi 6 capable devices you can always add a WiFi 6 access point and connect it to the hub.

The Sky Broadband Hub was released in early summer 2019 so yours is barely three years old at most.  It's reasonable to assume that Sky have a successor model (with WPA3 and WiFi 6) roadmapped*, but there's not even been a rumour of it yet.

*to remain competitive with BT if nothing else

I have been on Giga fast 900MBS for over a month and have never seen my speed go above 200MBS on a wired connection?

Please post your router stats along with a screenshot of a speedtest taken on an ethernet connected device.
