Full fibre
Engineer is coming in 8 working days but I have no date for delivery of the sky hub. Getting to speak to a human is nigh on impossible now.

I had Full Fibre installed April this year. Like yourself I was also getting worried about the router.
Like many other customers, my router arrived I recall 3 days before engineer visit. I would not bother call Sky as they will not be much help.
Just follow the order status on the app. If your router has not arrived by latest 1 day before the engineer visit...then you can start pulling your hair out 😁
