Full fibre

Getting full fibre installed next week, waited in for a delivery today all I received was a ETHERNET CABLE That was it, no router,ONT terminal etc nothing will engineer bring rest of kit? Sky are useless and their guard robot is not lettIng me ta

The ethernet cable is to plug from the ont into lan port 4 (wan port)

The router is sent out to be with you up until the day before activation

The ont will be installed on activation day

I already have a router for the bb service I already subscribed to 

so basically they will use my existing router with a new ont box and Ethernet cable?

That would depend on what router you have at the minute and what speed you have opted for

I had FTTC with Sky and decided to upgrade to Full Fibre as it was faster and cheaper.   Waited in best part of a day for the new hub to arrive but all I received was a Sky TV remote through the letterbox.  I didn't even have Sky TV!


Contacted Sky who had no idea what had happened and had no record of anything being delivered.  Cancelled the order with Sky and went to Plusnet with no issues at all.
