Full fibre installation

I have an engineer booked for Monday for full fibre. When booked they said I don't need to be there. But online says they need access to a socket inside? I'm a little confused now. As I'm working when they are due. I've also been without WiFi for 3-4 weeks. So don't want it delayed any longer.

@Claire50

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

Re: Full fibre installation

I tried that link but wouldn't do anything when I put in my address?

@Claire50 Link is working, you just need the house number and the post code entries filled...

I don't know what I'm doing wrong then. I put it in submit it goes round and round then stays at the address field.

Re: Full fibre installation

@JimM1 @TimmyBGood is it to see if I have the full fibre thing in the house? I'm sorry not very technical minded. Because the only broadband I've had is through the phone line.

Re: Full fibre installation

@Claire50 Yes, if you are in an area that is Fibre Ready, then there is NO Choice, OR Openreach if that is what you are getting will be coming to install a new cable from external to your home.... Two methods are OH Overhead off a pole, or underground duct....

Have linked my home picture, Now FF connected off the pole!
