Full Fibre upgrade

Hello - I am informed by Sky that I can upgrade from Superfast to Full Fibre at my address.
My current Sky router is a wi-fi 5 SR203 and the wi-fi range for what I need seems absolutely fine and have had little to no issues.
I would like to upgrade and FF 100 would be perfectly adequate for me. However, I have a few concerns over getting the new wi-fi 6 Max router. Some time ago I spoke with a very helpful Sky op in the tech area who, at the time warned me against getting the then new wi-fi Max router, due to compatibility issues. Eg problems connecting to Sky Q and thing like wi-fi door bells etc. He also mentioned I would be able to keep my present router should I get FF. A friend more knowledgeable than I has told me it's a good leap in technology and I would benefit from the change. He also pointed out I could change the password of the new router to that of the old one, so all connections would just work. So, I'm asking for some advice/reassurance that if I go to wi-fi 6 I'm doing the right thing and I shouldn't encounter any issues or should I keep my SR203?
Looking forward to hearing any views. Thank you.

@Alien+LV426 Just keep your old SR203 hub, will be enough going on when it gets repositioned to suit where the Fibre feed is supplied to, if you have NO wi-fi 6 devices then there is nothing to gain at all! And sky Q the SR203 is best device for that by a long shot!
