Full Fibre osp box

Took up Sky offer of free install of Fibre Broadband. Was told don't need to be at home for the OSP box to be installed. As we were going on holiday told Sky twice that we lived in upstairs flat and and no account was the box to go anywhere else except upstairs. Came home to find that Openreach had put the box on our downstairs neighbours wall which is brick. Apparently they couldn't drill into our flat due to plastic cladding and tiles. They chose to ignore the instructions I gave and just put it where they wanted! Sky cancelled my order in error before arranging  for Openreach to come and remove cable and box. Because of this cancellation Openreach cannot find any engineer details so cannot raise the order for removal! Long story short after 3 weeks of frustating calls to Sky to sort this they say my neighbours now have to make a complaint to their provider to get Openreach to come back to remove it! Has anyone else had this problem? I'm at my wits end,and very worried about the outcome. Sky and Openreach are at fault not me. Where do I stand? Thinking of escalating this higher but not sure where to go

For clarity, the external passive enclosure is the CSP (Customer Splice Point)

The internal powered box is the ONT (Optical Network Terminal)

Unfortunately giving an ISP instructions about infrastructure location doesn't translate to Openreach actions in the field.

@Groovynanny1 See if the OR Link is any better for you, tricky one when you are just not there and sky's advice is just not the best but do understand the Holiday, so would have delayed the install to be there if it was me!

How is Full Fibre Installed? Openreach
