Flashing green light sky max hub

Woke up to the light flashing green on my sky max hub.  Sky just arranged for an engineer to come but not until Tuesday.  Other people in the area posted they are having internet issues some with sky some with other BT providers.  We all can't be having router problems and sounds more like a localised issue at the exchange or something.  How can this be escalated.

You've already got an engineer visit on the next working day which is pretty good. You won't get anything quicker.

But that’s a sky enginner isn’t it coming to look at the sky max hub. Which I don’t think is the issue after trying some old routers I had. With multiple people in the area having issues can a sky enginner fix an exchange issue?

Then give Sky another call. If it's a larger outage Openreach may already be on the case. It's unfortunate that it's come on a bank holiday weekend.
