I've been having problems with my internet for two days now.
Firefox doesn't work at all, except late at night, when it works fine. (Firefox works fine using the wifi in my office, so the problem connected to my home Sky broadband).
And my internet is very slow for most of the day, except late at night. On some tests, it's at 10-16 MBPS download, when I'm paying for 35.
I've updated all my software just in case. I've uninstalled my firewall. I didn't change anything before the internet stopped working well.
Please help. Thanks.

Also, sometimes when I do an internet test, I get the following error on speedtest.net: A socket error occurred during the download test. A firewall could be blocking the connection or the server might be having some issues. Please try again later.

Can you please post your router stats
Also can you tell us how the device is connected to the hub (WiFi or ethernet) and if the problem occurs on other browsers?

Device is connected through Wifi.
Firefox (usually my main browser) is the only one not working at all. Other browsers work but are *very* slow.
Statistics attached
Thanks for your help.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYour stats look perfect, your on a full 40/10 connection with no drops since the router was rebooted. Ideally you need to try one or both of the following;
- Temporarily connect via ethernet to the hub to see if you still suffer the same symptoms. If you do still see the problem then you likely have an issue with the line or router. If you don't still see the problem then it looks to be a WiFi interference issue in which case you can have a look at the help guide in the second step
- Troubleshoot your WiFi signal itself. Do you have other devices? Do they work fine or are they slow too? Can you try working through these steps to see if it improves the situation https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-certain-times-slow
