Fickle connection

Have run diagnostics etc as per website but they say all good - it isn't.

Connection regularly drops out, phones finding wifi problematic ie won't connect.

streaming seems ok but general use on phones and tablets not good.

Please sort it out!

@GreenB33 most likely issue is poor WiFi coverage. Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surface then the only answer is additional wifi sources.

Your choice.is to either buy Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle which can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.

Re: Fickle connection

Thanks for the reply - skyhub is in best place (as positioned by engineer during set up) and anything using the wifi is in the same room within a few metres of the hub (small house with nothing in the way)

Have never had issues before. Will await tech support response!

Re: Fickle connection

Also, we've only had Sky for about a month or two and have been away for over half of that!
