Anyone got any suggestions why Openreach/Skytalk won't attach me to fibre optic cables which run 2 metres away from the telecom pole that carries our copper wire cable from the fibre cabinet 2K away from us ?

Suggestions as to how to get it done appreciated as speed has dropped again this week. Hot weather seemingly. Wet weather previously !

@shortagain you can check what services Openreach can offer Sky by entering your full address in this checker Openreach Checker. If you want help in understanding the results post the table and the first few lines of the notes after obscuring the reference to your address.

Previos posters have had similar issues where the pole their lines would run from is already full or the run is too long, blocked by trees etc. In these cases Openreach plan to come back at some point to sort the issue msybe by putting in a new pole. However the checker will tell us what your issue maybe.
