Fibre install put back a month. No internet til then?
Ordered sky fibre. Got told install 17 July.
Then got told 17 august. Have moved in and have no internet. Asked sky to connect up the copper wire ADSL but didn't get anywhere.
Will they do a temporary ADSL connection?
Am on coast and mobile signal /.data from all the networks is rubbish especially due to holidaymakers , cannot do business.

@Tossy Unfortunately Sky won't be able to provision a temporary connection via copper, where FTTP is avaiable that is all that can be ordered, if you need to connection to do business then you may need to look at a business grade service, they can usually install quicker but it will almost certainly cost more than Sky's domestic service(and significantly more depending on the package/support level.)

Unfortunately as part of the national transition to optical broadband ISPs cannot now order wholesale connectivity over copper in areas served by FTTP, even where this means individual provisioning is delayed.

@Tossy that is about the sum of it.
You should be due compensation for late provision see Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com which should help cover your extra costs.

Unfortunately this situation is a particular issue with house moves, but there just isn't any good solution.

Re: Fibre install put back a month. No internet til then?
Talked to BT and they offered me an expensive contract 'hybrid' mobile and fibre deal but could not guarantee the mobile side would give workable data in my area. They said that with my location, there is no copper wire at the cabinet any longer.
The solution would have been to have hung onto the old kit until all addresses are moved over to fibre for seamless integration
