Fibre connection issues
Placed an order with SKY on 21/02/25 for Fibre. This was due to go live on the 27/02/25 however, I received an unexpected text from SKY stating there is a delay with my order and an update would be provided on the 08/03/25
On the 12/03/25 (same day a sky engineer was due to visit) I received an update stating this;
"just a quick update on your order. Openreach have told us they currently do not have equipment in place to connect your Broadband and Talk to your phone exchange. Openreach are looking at the best way to get you connected. You will receive a text with an update on your order on 17/03/25"
I've done an online checker
for our address and it shows this. Can anyone shed any light of what the issue is and likely time to resolution? WFH is very difficult!

Re: Fibre connection issues
The likely issue is the partial direct in ground installation. A seperate team will install an armoured fibre cable directly undergound possibly due to no existing duct.

Re: Fibre connection issues
Thank you. We have a black city fibre plastic connection at the end of our property footpath. Am I right in thinking they need to connect this to the house via an underground cable, so the issue is digging up my front area to do this?
