Fibre Internet Keeps dropping on Teams Calls

Hi

 

I'm looking for some help with my fibre broadband.  When i'm working from home and on Teams calls i frequently lose connection and get a poor network quality message.  Any ideas?

 

The lights on the rooter are all green and the sky app diagnositc confirms everything is ok so i'm not sure what to do.

 

Here is my router info.

@Homeworker1  There has been no drops to the broadband line as per the stats you posted, I note you use wifi exclusively, have you tried using ethernet on the device you use Teams for?

 

This would be much more reliable than wifi which can be prone to interferace from neighnbouring wifi signals.

I work upstairs, in a room above the router,  so unfortunately i can't connect with an ethernet cable permanently.  

 

Thanks for the idea.  For my next call I will try plugging into the router to see if that makes any difference.

@Homeworker1  If ethernet connection is't possible it may be worth investing in powerline adapters.
