Faulty broadband hub
Just switched from Talk Talk to Sky. First Sky sent the wrong hub so we've had to wait for a new one. Switchover was on Tuesday so we've been using the Talk Talk router rather than be without wifi. New Sky hub arrive md yesterday, set it up, all worked fine until 1am and it's been off ever since. Done all the tests and checks but the hub just has a red power light. Phone Sky they said we need and engineer who can't come until the 29th but we have a new phone socket installed by Openreach a few months ago. Put the talk talk router back in and it's all working again except the phone line. Surely it's a faulty hub not the socket or line? Woman on the phone said the only option is an Openreach engineer 🤦🏻♀️

Re: Faulty broadband hub
@matt11111111If the Talk Talk router is still working, but not the phone line it sounds like it could be a borked transfer from one provider to another. As for the phone not working with the new Sky routers they now plug into the back of the router as they use the phone socket on the back.
Does the Talk Talk router have the same type of socket?
