Fault ongoing since 14th July

Hi I’m posting here to highlight an ongoing, severe physical line fault that has now dragged on for over 3 weeks (originally logged on 14th July). Sky issued a formal "Right to Exit" email on 17th July due to failing speed guarantees, the underlying physical issue remains completely unresolved. My connection is suffering from continuous 50% to 66%+ packet loss, rendering the internet unusable for basic tasks, Wi-Fi calling, and streaming. Ive spoken to sky on numerous occassions and Openreach engineers have turned up unannounced twice (captured on my Ring camera) while no one was home. Because they couldn't gain entry to test the master socket, it looks like theyve just performed a quick DLM reset at the cabinet and marked the fault as resolved. As a result, the line works for roughly 24 to 48 hours before (I'm assuming) the damaged physical copper causes the line to degrade right back to 66% packet loss. Because a connection running with 50%+ packet loss is functionally non-operational, this is a Total Loss of Service under Ofcom guidelines. Under Ofcom’s Automatic Compensation Scheme, Sky is required to pay £10.34 for every calendar day the service remains uncorrected after the initial 2-working-day grace period. Since this continuous fault was created on 14th July and remains broken, the accumulated automatic compensation is well over £200 and continues to accrue at £10.34/day until the physical copper fault is fixed. The cabinet resets do not fix degraded or physically damaged copper wiring. I need Openreach to attend a properly booked, time-slotted appointment so an engineer can access the premises, test the line and, if required, run a fresh external drop-wire to a new ground-floor socket. I would appreciate it if a moderator could escalate this thread to ensure Openreach is instructed to handle this as a proper investigation and physical fix rather than another cabinet reset. Thanks, Gareth
