Failure to reconnectGoogle devices

I have recently changed from Sky Q broadband router to more powerful Sky Broadband router with guarantee of signal in every room. Unfortunately two Google device,one a Nest in the kitchen and one a mini in the bedroom will not reconnect to the new network although both worked fine in Sky Q.Google home can find them and both either sound or indicate theyare connected but then both repeat the mantra that they cant connect to the internet.  Help please!

@JenRay

On research, I've done DNS to Google servers need to be working and as Sky boost service redirects the DNS to Sky servers with transparent DNS proxy this can cause issues with Google Nest. I'd recommend adjusting Sky boost buddy service to whitelist the DNS server 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 by IP address.
