Hi I have had to use the factory reset but when I type in the 192 bit in my McAfee block the page from opening how can I get around this

Find out more@Trucker987 check the settings in McAfee or simply disable it while you access the Sky hub there is no security risk as the IP address is only accessible from devices on your home network. However re-enable protection once you have set up the hub.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Trucker987 simoly type 192.168.0.1 into the browser and hit return do not add anything before or after those numbers. That is the IP address of your Sky hub and will open its web interface where I assume you want to change settings from the factory defaults from the reset.

Sounds like you are typing it into the search bar . Try typing it in to the address bar

I have no internet connection through sky I'm having to use my ee dongle I was talked into a factory reset for my hub and now I can't reset anything

Find out more@Trucker987 still not clear what you are trying to do but you dont need an internet connection to access the hub's interface you simply need your device to be connected to the hub. If you want to reset the hub hold in the reset pin until the power led flashes which takes up to 20 seconds then rdlease the pin.
