Factory reset

Hi all hope you can help.

I'm having issues accessing my sky hub as have lost the login details.

any help would be most appreciated..

Re: Factory reset

The default login is 'admin' but you need the original password - it should be on the label on underside of the hub

Re: Factory reset

Thanks for the quick reply.
The default login details where changed and its been a while since I've logged in and stupidly have lost the new login details

hence trying to factory reset the router back to it original settings/admin login details.
doesn't matter what I've tried

the router only seems to be rebooting not resetting

@mrep75Hold the reset button for around 20 secinds and this should set the router back to factory settings.

If someone has helped give them Like.

'Default' means factory default - that is, the password that was set when provided from the 'factory'.

When you do a factory reset all information that you may have changed is lost and everything (should be) reset to how it was when you originally got the router.

@mrep75 a factory reset will definitely return the default log in but in you release the reset pin too early the unit just reboots wait until,the power light flashes which as @Highlinder says can take 20nseconds.

If using an ios device the log in will fail even with the correct details on the first attempt if possible use a non Apple device but if you have to use an ios device try repeatedly and. you will get in eventually.

Re: Factory reset

@Highlinder
@Chrisee

many thanks for you responses and sorry for the late reply.
I've held the button 10seconds,20seconds and even 1minute still no joy at the moment,

I will give another go tomorrow...

also Chrisee, yes I realize I'll loose all the settings as they are and usually usually connect the router direct to my laptop rather than use my phone.
again many thanks for all your help.

Re: Factory reset

Press and hold the WPS button on the side of the router. Keep it pressed for 20-30 seconds. The led on the front will change colour, flash and, eventually reset back to steady white (about 2 mins).
