FTTP & FTTC

What is FTTP and FTTC?

I have another post running which is not now getting any replies on my wifi devices constantly dropping out.

I have looked at the socket on the wall this morning and the 3 green lights are on but the LAN one is constantly flickering.  Is it meant to do this?  Just wondering if this is my issue as the wall is quite crumbly (inside) where he has put the socket.  I have put a video below to show it flickering.

Here you go:

FTTP will require an ONT inside the property, something like:

And FTTC (included G.fast) uses a 'phone socket (something like):

FTTP is what I have then - should the LAN light be constantly flickering?

A LAN LED 'flickering' typically indicates data is flowing.  Unlit, solid or 'pulsing' is likely to be an error state.

The lan light on the ont flashes green when data is flowing between the ont and the hub
