Extremely slow WiFi connection on everything

So we have been with sky for 8 years now and slowly but surely the WiFi is just getting slower and slower. Not it's too a point where If more then one person is using it it's practically not usable or extremely slow. It's especially worse for gaming and downloads . What would normally take something 2 hours to download it will take around a day and half straight with our WiFi and during that time we all have to use mobile data as the WiFi physically can't handle anything else. I have done all trouble shooting steps multiple times but at this point with the router being 8 years old it's just hopeless . Is their anyway we are entitled to a free upgrade or a free WiFi booster as we have been loyal for nearly a decade ?

Moving from FTTC to FTTP is typically 'free' if that's available in your area.

An eight year old Hub is probably the Q model, which is due for replacement this year anyway.
