Extra work for sky fibre installation needed.

Engineer arrived this morning to install my sky fibre broadband but was unable to install because there was no fibre cable running from the outside in. I've been waiting nearly 2 months for broadband in my home to be told they are unable to connect me to the network. In my very first email I was sent,

If you already have an ONT (Optical Network Terminal - a small box which connects the fibre cabling from outside to your Hub), it may need to be replaced during your installation appointment.

The engineer may also need to do some checks outside your home before your installation date. This is all part of the process, and you won't need to be around while these checks are done.

Can anybody help?

@BigChefSteve Failed at all the hurdles and it can/does happen as you have now found out, your installation was it OR that came to install it all for you, a contractor or sky Engineer, it will be reported back now to the state off play and what is going to be required to be done! Does not help you but do watch out for the please contact us text/e-mail from sky and go from there onwards!
