Extenders cannot connect to Internet

I am trying to connect Netgear extenders using WPS but they cannot access Internet through the Sky Max hub. They seem to have invalid IP addresses assigned with 192.168.1.xyz instead of 192.168.0.xyz. How can I fix this?

@Stewart3849 using third party extenders with a Sky Mac hub is not recommended as they often hit issues more WiFi is not necessarily better WiFi. Without knowing the details of the units it sounds like they are not set up properly check they are configured to operate in extender mode.

However a better setup if you have more than one extender is to connect the first unit by Ethernet to the Sky hub in access point mode and then connect the other extenders to that unit creating a Netgear mesh network. You can then turn off the hub's WiFi to avoid both the two networks interfering and issues with the Sky hub's ability to switch to higher channels in the 5FHz band which some third party extrnders cannot follow.

Re: Extenders cannot connect to Internet

Thank you. That sounds like a good solution, although I'm surprised that Sky don't support both Mac & Windows!

Thanks for your help.
