Extender won’t pick up internet

I have WiFi in my downstairs and internet . But upstairs I can't pick up m WiFi internet . I now have an extender it's set up ok amd it is saying it's connected to WiFi but I can't connect to the internet on it .

@Amybond the Sky hub often need a matched extender. For example the white Sky hub only works with the pods Sky provides as part of the wiFi Max bundle see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

If Sky provided the extender then call them but if you got it from another source post some details of what you have. If you have a black Sky hub does the extender havecthe same shape but is white?
