Eufy doorbell connection issue

Sky Max hub, Eufy doorbell. I have turned off the 5Ghz signals, and the security is set to WPA2

Eufy doorbell still doesn't want to know, connection failed every time. Is there anything else I can try? I have some more eufy cameras on the way with the eufy hub thing so I'm assuming once I connect that via Ethernet and connect the camera to the eufy hub.

any help welcome!

Re: Eufy doorbell connection issue

@Time2 Without knowing exactly what you have, what you are getting etc there is not much that the Forum can do to assist you, just saying i have a Eufy does not work as there a multiple types and models.

Hopefully you can do something but you may find that the Eufy site is better for you! Doing what you have on the sky Hub is the limit to that, now it's all down to the device to connect!

Re: Eufy doorbell connection issue

Not much more info to share to be honest! Eury E340 doorbell, white sky max hub.

doorbell needs a 2.4ghz connection so I have disabled the 5Ghz like all the other discussions here advise and it's still not working, connection failed. Just wondering if anyone else had tried all the advice on here and had it still not work

fustration is with eufy, not sky!

Re: Eufy doorbell connection issue

@Time2 I cannot remember one single user who has ever got a Eufy to work just always complaints, if the have then once done they are in the wind, can tell you though Ring devices work fine!

Not every device play's well with each other and if there is a doorbell step by step guide for connecting has it been followed exactly to a T.

My Ring doorbell worked right out off the bat, connected it via a SE210 booster as that was the closest device, then when the doorbell was mounted outside the signal was insufficent to reach so powerline wi-fi connected it, been that way for years now and zero problems with it.

But Ring do this wierd way temp wifi etc scan the QR code to try and help get them connected but it is all because off secure device as they try to sort it out, don't want someone coming pulling the ring off the wall and using it connected easily to another system. All the Eufy linked below if it helps!
