Ethernet conection problem. It's connected but msg and diagnostic says ut isn't. All other devices connected but my hard wired PC is not and won't since around an hour ago. Anyone else with this problem?
Right click the Start button and click on 'Device Manager', any issues showing especially under 'Network adaptors'?
If nothing shows, try a different port on the hub and/or a different cable.
Are there any network switches, powerlines etc involved? Has it ever worked?

Re: Ethernet connection
Most likely to be a problem with the cable/plugs. (They do go wrong, strangely enough).
Try uplugging both ends and plugging them back in again, (two or three times). Sometimes hot weather causes "thermal creep" on the connections. Plugging and unplugging them several times helps to polish any oxidation off the contacts. If that doesn't work try a different port on the hub. If that doesn't work, try a completely different cable.
