Ethernet connection lights
We upgraded to Sky Fibre 150 and I have noticed that the ethernet connections on the reverse of the main Sky hub have one steady green light and one steady amber light. I have tried different ethernet cables. Is this normal?

Re: Ethernet connection lights
That would usually indicate that the ports are connecting at 100Mb/s instead of 1000Mb/s.
Assuming the cables you are using are working properly and are 8 wire, Cat 5e or above, then it will be a setting on the hub somewhere. Just find it and set it to 1000Mb/s, (also known as "Full Duplex" or sometimes "Auto-negotiate").
(Note, very old cat 5 cables will only support 100Mb/s).
EDIT: I've just had a quick look at an old SR203. It's under "Ethernet" and can be set to "Gigabit ethernet" or "Fast ethernet". You want Gigabit.
