Ethernet cable

Hi, just wanted to know if I need a genuine sky cable, from openreach socket to sky hub. Or could I buy an after market one, many thanks in advance.

That's probably not an ethernet cable: it's typically RJ11 to RJ11.  Any reasonable one will do: look for something described as 'four pin fully wired'.

Ethernet would be applicable from the ethernet socket on an Openreach ONT to the WAN port on a Sky Broadband Hub for an FTTP broadband service only.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
