Ethernet Speed
Hello,
does anyone know if this hub model is capped at a certain speed when connected with a Ethernet cable?
if not, can you provide the best cable to buy?

Re: Ethernet Speed
@AidanW5 What speed is being reported on your NIC on the device you are using. Use CAT 5e here and have set at 1.0Gbp/s, so would give the NIC a check to see if it is a bottle neck running at 100mbp/s.
If you have found this solution helpful please tick this as the answer.

Re: Ethernet Speed
The SR203, like almost every current ISP router, has a gigabit ethernet chipset. Cables above Cat5e make essentially no difference.
If you have Sky Q television there's a known phenomenon where LAN speed can nosedive.

Re: Ethernet Speed
@AidanW5 Just be sure that you have NOT set the hub for FAST Ethernet operation that forces the port to drop to the 100Mb/s speed range, that is very missleading and not what people would expect! No capping off speeds....
