Ethernet Not working


Recently installed a cctv system in my house which requires an Ethernet connect to view the cameras via a mobile app but my sky broadband box isn't registering a connection between itself and the box for the cameras I have tried plugging it out and back in from both ends I've reset the sky box and the dvr box still nothing and also the sky broadband box has green lights on the Ethernet port to say it's got a connection but when I'm plugging my cable in it's not even registering it's a high speed cat5e cable aswell and should well be able to support what it's needed for I've noticed a few people having this problem I'm just wondering did anyone get to the bottom of it ?

Try changing the ethernet mode on the hub to 'Fast'

Also make sure your DVR is set to DHCP not static IP
