Engineer failure to appear

My appointment was booked for today (Nov 28th) for 1pm-6pm. I received a text last night saying it was 8am-1pm. They never showed up so I checked the site, it said 1pm-6pm. They also cancelled an appointment without telling me.

Not to mention the guy who came a few days ago to install the external cables said he needed a machine to reach the top of a pole never came back.

 

So now I have a cancellation AND a failure to come to my home at the appointed time to install my service, AND no cables leading to my house.

 

I am also unable to call as I do not have a mobile phone, nor access to one.

 

Can you please tell me what I'm supposed to do in this situation, since the chat on the website just tells me they cannot do anything as I don't have a live service yet (the damn irony) and to call, despite telling them I am unable to?

I just got a call from Openreach, 15 minutes after the appointment time. They rescheduled for Tuesday.

 

I would like information on how to ensure I get compensation for all of this, as I'm told I am eligible, and normally I would let it slide, but the lack of communication is absolutely ridiculous.

@DeanP2 You may not like this, but again that would be a call to sky i think, will find the compensation info an link it below for you! Couple off mins to do that so hang on! There is two for you! There you go!
