So my engineer was booked for 8 am to 1pm on 23rd Feb 24. Text received to confirm the date. Took the day off work and waited in but they didn't turn up so checked MySky to find the date had been changed to 27th Feb. No notification or consultation! Am I supposed to waste another days leave now?! Why are Sky so consistently rubbish!

The vast majority of broadband engineer calls are by Openreach personnel, rather than being carried out by ISP staff. Unfortunately Openreach typically don't inform their ISP clients that they will be unable to attend a particular address ahead of the scheduled slot, or about missed appointments until the following working days at the earliest.
