Engineer booked

I have an engineer booked for today, as my internet stopped last night,  but ive checked this morning and its all working.
does anyone know how to cancel an engineer? Can't get through on any number and cant find an email address.

or is it worth just letting the engineer come to check everything?

@Kmcl5 itvis not possible to cancel at this point but given Openreach test the lines remotely it is auite likely they will know the line is fixed.

@Kmcl5

Cancelling at such short notice would likely mean a £25 charge on your next bill anyway.

Re: Engineer booked

Ah ok thank you.
do you think they should cancel the engineer their end, or are they likely to still turn up to check?

@Kmcl5

if an engineer has been booked then unless you have been told otherwise they will go to wherever the fault is which is likely to be outside of your property so not requiring someone to actually knock on your door.
