Engineer No Show

Posting on behalf of my grandparents.

Ordered Sky broadband and was supposed to go through on Wednesday. The internet line is not working, leaving them with no broadband at all.

An engineer was booked to visit today between 1-6pm, but no one bothered to show up. The service checker is now showing that the engineer visit is completed.... Which it is not, as no one has visited the property.

I have tried endlessly to get in contact with a human, but am getting thrown off by robots both online and over the phone.

How do I go about speaking to an actual human who can help get them to the bottom of the problem? This is leaving two disabled oaps without any broadband or landline.

Any help much appreciated.

Have they been told where the fault is because if it outside of their property the Openreach engineer should have gone to where it was to carry out a fix.

What lights are now lit on their broadband hub ?

Re: Engineer No Show

The power and wi-fi lights are green- no other lights are on.

Followed the directions on testing and at the end of the process was told to book an engineer through the sky website. It did not say whether it was an Openreach or Sky engineer.
