Before a refund is issued you should see a credit on your Sky account so if you do then post back here as we can help you via here to get the refund issued much quicker.

Thanks for the quick responses.
A direct debit was taken on the 25th of April and the DD is still shown as active on my bank account.
The account shows an amount due and an amount paid leaving a zero balance.
Should I expect to see a credit at some point?

@Bill051 Does take a few billing cycles sometimes, can take a look at mine if you need from last year, know when i transfered, and when credit appeared, but i just called Sky to get it back at that time. Let me know... Jim

There is a credit showing as the next predicted bill. I'll keep checking.
How long should it take to port the phone number?

@Bill051 Sky release your phone and broadband at the instant activation VM does, VM is the point off call for your phone number porting, no one else landline i assume, VM are in control off it all, one of the superuser's will sort out the request/direction for the billing side!

How do I get my credit for overcharged period?
The latest bill was generated in the 11th of May and shows a credit balance.
The DD is still shown on my bank account - paydate is 25th of thge month.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
