Dynamic DNS

So it looks like the basic Sky router does not allow Dynamic DNS, as I have tried to set it up and it just won't accept the hostname, If I buy my own decent router, then would this be allowed on the broadband?

It does work.

What Sky router do you have and what DDNS service have you signed up with?

And, yes, it will work with a different router.
