Down Since Sunday

Whilst I applaud Sky's diligence in detecting a problem, I cannot say that the same is applicable to the speed of rectification. Now, I have received an Email from them which seems to be saying, we are sorry for the problems you are experiencing, but if you are not happy, we will let you leave the service without any penalties. Alternatively, we will let you upgrade without any upfront costs. Problem is, we cannot upgrade because they cannot offer an enhanced service.

This to me seems to be saying, sorry, we really can't be bothered, so hopefully you are going to ditch the service.

Not a great attitude from a company which has offered multiple services to our household for over 16 years!

That's typically an auto-generated message when a copper circuit has degraded to the point that the Guaranteed Minimum Download Speed cannot be delivered, but the ISP has no confidence that Openreach will rectify the issue within the remaining lifespan of the legacy telephone network.
