Does anyone else have problems with their broadband connection and sky are unable to sort it out.

Despite being promised ultra fast broadband the recently installed system is far inferior than the last. Sky are either unable or unwilling to solve this problem.

'Ultrafast' is an industry marketing term used to describe at least two very different technologies and several speed bands delivered as far as an ISP router.  In some cases it's not actually 'ultra fast' even at the router (the lowest wholesale band is now 100Mbs) while WiFi from the router ultimately falls to zero Mbs over enough distance or through a few walls.

 

As a starting point, it's helpful to know which Sky Broadband product you actually have.
