Disable SIP ALG on SR213

Hi,

I need to disable SIP ALG on my Sky Broadband Hub SR213-02-UK-wht router.

Required so I can use my WFH VOIP Phone.

Can anyone advise as to how to do this?

Thanks,

Jay

Hi @Fulch

This guide may help depending on your router model https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband-Talk/How-to-turn-off-SIP-ALG/ba-p/3601751

Hi,

Thanks but as I mentioned, mine is the SR213 so that guide is no good.

@Fulch

Have you checked that you cant do it via the web interface still? The Sky max hub does have a basic web interface, just a lot of settings are via the app now.

@jamesn123,

Yes already checked this. Various and numerous posts on here also confirm you can't.

@Fulch

I will escalate your post to Sky to see if they can make the change on their end. Look out for a chat box on the forum to talk to them.

Re: Disable SIP ALG on SR213

Hi, I am having the same issue with my VOIP service with Andrews and Arnold.

I need SIP-ALG disabled.

I have a SR213 router.

From looking at other forums, this is not possible to do on the admin page. Instead it needs to be escalated to the sky technical team to do.

@SKY170

Your duplicate post has been removed to prevent duplicate replies but I see you posted…

"Hi. I have got a VoIP landline service with Andrews and Arnold for my business. I need SIP-ALG disabled on my router for this to work properly."

Do you have Sky Business Broadband?

Your post suggests you are using domestic broadband to help run your business which as outlined in the T's and C's is not permitted as per this extract...

Sky Broadband is for private use by you and members of your household only, It must not be used for any activities not reasonably expected of someone using Sky Broadband for domestic purposes. Sky may use your IP address, technical data from our network and your devices, and traffic and location data as necessary to check whether you are using your broadband services in this way.

Re: Disable SIP ALG on SR213

Hi. Apologies for the confusion. I misspoke, this is being used for domestic purposes.

I have a residential landline with Andrews & Arnold who have advised for this setting to be turned off.

Are you able to point me in the direction of someone who can help?

Thanks

Disable SIP ALG

Hi,

I have posted on another thread but not received a reply in a few days.

I have a VoIP service with Andrews and Arnold for my residential landline and I need SIP-ALG disabled.

I have a SR213 router.

From looking at other forums, this is not possible to do on the admin page. Instead it needs to be escalated to the sky technical team to do.

Please can someone refer me to the appropriate team?
