Devices failing to connect to internet

Hi

 

Our set up is covered by a previous post on connecting our ASUs router to the SR203 hub:

Nothing has changed since then and connections has been good. 

However, in last few days, we suddenly get all devices having same glitch. They fail to connect "for the first time". Ie device fails to con to website but then connects when you make another attempt. Affects all devices and different websites. 

Has anyone come across this before?

 

Would I be better resetting SR203 or Asus? (or both?)

I would start with the 3rd party equipment and go from there

Thanks. I'll check but worried that even a simple reset will remove all the saved passwords. Is that right? Ie we can reboot Sky router without that risk?

What do you mean by saved passwords? By factory resetting any router you will revert it back to its original settings, if you had changed the SSID & password of that router from its default then you'd need to change these back to have devices reconnect automatically.

Thanks. I wasn't clear. I've "rebooted" the Asus and all seems good so far. Got a bit confused between reboot, soft reset and hard reset etc.

Spoke too soon. Exactly same issues-websites often fail to load the first time. If you re-try, they connect. 

I guess I should try rebooting the SR203 now?

 

I don't suppose it's anything to do with "double  nat"? (X ref  my original issue) If so, wonder why it's only occurred now?

 

Bit confused.
