Devices are showing as poor quality despite no issues prior.

Hi all,

Just looking for some advice.

Had my wifi for around a year and a half and the qualities been superb, even when someone is streaming shows and using a playstation for online gaming and no issues even in "peak hours"

Around 4 days ago, the quality has taken a nose dive and specifically online gaming has become unplayable despite  the router itself registering as fine and us having 0 issues in the past.

I've tried trouble shooting, like resetting the wifi/consoles, re-adding the details and unplugging it entirely, and giving it time to kick back in.

That was when I've used the wifi checker and saw there's apparently an issue with some devices, firestick and playstation specifically.

Any advice would be appreciated.

@ConnorJ8734

The broadband checker checks for issues in your local area so try running the line test here to see if any faults are found:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.
