Delayed Broadband installation
Hi, I was on this before to find out what I'm entitled to because I'm waiting since 22nd July so nearly 2 months without broadband at my new address and I found out I wasn't entitled to the same as people in England are for delayed broadband.
however I did make a formal complaint 2 weeks ago and they assured me they would apply loss off service to the account once my broadband gets installed? wonder what this ? A good will gesture off some credit ?
I did make a complaint to Comreg Ireland after I originally made a formal complaint to Sky and once Comreg got involved 6 days ago all the work has been carried out and i am being installation booked for tomorrow
im delighted but amazed how fast it happened once the formal complaint went to comreg and they even sent a tv engineer to move my Q box for free , waived the €100 fee and sent someone out the next day.
they really have been so helpful and understanding since the complaint went formal I'm very happy but pity it had to go to a formal complaint to be heard by Sky especially after I was told 2 weeks ago it would be 44-90 days before the works would be done , that's when I made the formal complaint it was looking like going 5 months after original date
