Deactivation of broadband at current address

Hi, I am moving to a new flat on the 14th and have booked an engineer and for broadband activation for that day.

At my current property, I'm also with Sky and was told that broadband will be deactivated on the 13th.

Does that mean that 13th is the last day that broadband will work, or will it be disconnected immediately on the 13th?

I work from home so this is a potentially significant issue

@Christos18 this isn't something either you or Sky can control. Openreach will do the switch at a time that suits them sometime on the due date. Plan for the worse hope for the best.

@Christos18

Data may stop following on Sky's end as soon as the clock ticks over to the 13th or it may be when Openreach physically disconnect you at the cabinet which could be early morning or late afternoon. Either way I would do as @Chrisee says and plan for the worst. Maybe a mobile hotspot will tie you over for the day?
