Daily rebooting the router more than twice is this normal with sky broadband?
Hello everyone,
I recently joined Sky Broadband, and I’m facing a very frustrating issue. My internet disconnects almost every day, and I have to restart the Sky router two to three times a day to get it working again.
During these disconnections, my entire home security system, door locks, and cameras go offline, which is a serious concern.
When I was with Vodafone, I never had this problem – in fact, I would maybe restart the router once in a year at most. Now with Sky, it’s happening daily, which doesn’t seem right at all.
Is this behaviour normal with Sky routers, or is something wrong with my line/router that needs fixing?
I would appreciate any advice or support on this, as the current situation is inconvenient and unreliable.

Re: Daily rebooting the router more than twice is this normal with sky broadband?
This shouldn't be happening and I remember way back when I first joined Sky something similar used to occur each day, my case was fixed after a call to Sky.
Try running the line test here to see if any faults are found:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start
You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.
After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.
If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can
