Builders cut my phone line inside my flat when doing work. Informed sky, asked for openreach engineer as it's phone line damaged. Sky gets openreach to check phone line outside property, no fault, needs engineer visit. They send a sky engineer, he says he can't fix it will send info to openreach. I phone sky to find out when I might hear about openreach coming as it's half term, I don't want to be waiting around for days on end, they book an appointment. I'm assured they're sending an openreach engineer this time, they send the same sky engineer! Phone sky, they can only book a sky engineer to come again but he will put a message to the sky engineer they cannot leave job till my issue is fixed. They have no option to book openreach to come to the property on their system, openreach will only look at phoneline outside of property, my only option is another sky engineer visit. I, after an hour arguing about this as I'd had another email saying openreach will do a visit but not to the property, I don't need to be home; finally get told they will put a note on the message to openreach that the fault is on property and they need to phone me and arrange a visit, they don't need to do another line test. Heard nothing still, although I'm probably being impatient as I've not had Internet for 3 weeks and only phoned again yesterday, but feel I'm going round in circles with sky. Anyone know anything else I can try to get this resolved if I don't get a call from openreach in the next day or 2? Annoyed at not being able to go too far in case openreach ring wanting to come fix the issue but also want it fixed this week as its half term and I'm off work.
Hope this makes sense, I'm super frustrated about how hard it is to get the right person booked to fix the problem.
