Copper cable switch off
I received an email about the broadband band switch over and I wanted to know if there's any way it could be done without an engineer? I'm autistic and agraphobic and since the email I been very stressed out about it.

Re: Copper cable switch off
It's very likely an engineer would be required and definitely so if you need a ONT box installed.
To discuss your concerns consider registering with the Sky Accessibility Team who may be able to help put your mind at ease. Once registered there are also different methods of communication other than phoning so have a look at these related links…

It is quite a straight forward process whereby the engineer will need to visit your property to install an ONT which is usually put where your current telephone wire comes into your property and into a phone box. Is there not anyone you can have with you on the day this is due to be installed ?
