I had the same issue but all I received was a torn envelope with two pieces of paper. No cables, nothing. Spoke to the Sky call centre, who were totally useless. No idea what had been sent, no idea what to do. So it appears i should have been sent a cable. Any ideas how to contact sky other than there offshore call centre which is next to useless?

Re: Conversion kit
If you already have a Sky Broadband Hub and didn't opt to add the WiFi Max subscription supplement then the ethernet cable is all you get: it links the newly installed ONT to the Hub.

Re: Conversion kit
Personally I'd suggest acquiring a Cat5e ethernet cable in whatever colour and length you prefer, otherwise you'll need to persist with getting through to someone useful in a contact centre.
