Hi guys.
I am coming to the end of my fibre broadband contract with Sky.
I have got an email with new monthly rate which is way above they give to new customers. Its even more dearer than other providers offer (even excluding the signing on rewards).
IHaving been with Sky for a while, I wanted to contact Sky before switching.
Is there any online chat option where I can discuss options with Sky?
All I could find was a virtual assistant that gets on my nerves by going round in circles to take the mick.

The 0333 number should be close to the bottom of the page after clicking need more help

i tried ringing 150 yesterday but it kept ringing for an hour and then had to hang up.
thats why i am looking for an online chat option with a human which I could manage alongside my work.
i will try the online help option later mid dayish once again.
failing that will place an order with alternate provider which seems like the easier option.
many thanks for your time.

If you’re moving to a provider like Virgin Media or City Fibre etc who don’t use the Openreach set up, you'll have to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days, but if you are still in the initial 18 months deal Sky could impose cancellation charges. This link may help https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband
If you are changing to another provider who also uses the Openreach infrastructure then join up with them and they should contact Sky on your behalf.

thanks @Daniel0210
No i am in the last 4 weeks of my 18 month contract.
The alternate option uses Openreach frmework as well. So I guess I dont need something similar to PAC code we use when switiching mobile networks.
I will try contacting Sky through chat now as a last attempt to see whether they want me to stay. 😉
