Constant internet outages, super slow speeds?

Sky has started checking my speeds because I wasn't getting what I'm meant to in download speeds, but my speed checker in the sky app is saying I'm at the correct speeds where as my Xbox or phone is telling me different. I'm constantly getting lagged out of games and kicked for connectivity issues. Also can't seem to watch anything on my phone for long as the internet disconnects and reconnects from my phone but as soon as I got to check on the app if there is an issue "everything is fine" again. I'm so frustrated someone please help me.

That's typically because the app reports cabled speed at the Hub while your own devices are 'testing' local WiFi.

My Xbox should be getting the minimum download speed while downloading games or what's the point in paying for that service? I'm supposed to get 60mbps and I'm barely reaching 50mbps on a good day?

@Steee3005 Your minimum download speed doesn't apply to the speed to your devices, it only applies to the speed delivered to your router from the cabinet or exchange. If you're connected via WiFi to your Xbox then that speed can be significanlty lower due to unavoidable interference and even the construction of your home(Sky are not responsible for either of those issues).

Mine's conveniently got worse since I told Sky I was leaving. According to the app I get 152mb/s, which at 2am I probably do. At a sensible time in the evening I'm getting 8 download, 1 upload which is **bleep**. When my connection can't seem support glass and two phones without losing picture and failing to load a page on the sky app, there ain't much point me turning on the playstation as well. The service checker never seems to identify any problems, but testing it with a 3rd party app also seems to be suggesting that my connection keeps changing between Nottingham and Sheffield.
