Constant Wifi drop outs

Looks like some other users have reported same / similar issue , run all tests from Sky portal all comes back fine , unable to connect to wifi intermittently since having new router installed a couple of months back had been fine on old router for 5 years , sometimes there is absolutly no SSID from router or appliances just stay on trying to connect but dont seem to get an IP allocated, Skyq streaming like netfix etc drop off all appliances like ring doorbell nest etc all drop out , the PC near the router is connected via ethernet and has no issues so clearly something up with new router wifi, Incidentally I have a unify wifi in the upstairs part of the house and that works 100% fine. How do I even log a support case or contact someone on the phone seems that if the tests pass you cant speak to anyone ?

Re: Constant Wifi drop outs

if you have a Sky alndline then call 150 to contact customer service.  You state that the WI-FI is dropping out do you eman the entire internet or just the WI-FI ? if the latter then have you checked for interferance ? and where is your Sky Hub located ?

Re: Constant Wifi drop outs

Thank you, it could be interference with neighbouring dveices such as WI-FI bands, you get allocated a WIFI channel once you turn your router on and sometimes neighbours WIFI can affect it depending on what cahnnel theyre using, If you turn it off and on again then it should assign you a new channel and this helps in some cases. If youve laready tried that and it didnt work then have you checked the settings on the Sky Hub and reset them ? always check the obvious and that there is nothing casuing interfence with the router such as being next to a cordless phone and that it is off the floor. If you have tried all of the above then it would be best to call Sky. Depending on the size and layout of your house it may be worth having a Mesh setup for WIFI.

Re: Constant Wifi drop outs

Thanks I have unify setup in another part of the house so might just disable the wifi and use unify instead as its rock solid, the router gets rebooted about 4 times a day works for a bit then drops out again.
